Where is KULT.?
We’re at 161–163 High Street, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1HE — on the main High Street, a few minutes’ walk from Regent Centre Metro.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 7:30am–4pm, Saturday 9am–5pm, Sunday 10am–4pm, and bank holidays 10am–4pm. Evening events and private hire run outside those hours.
Do I need to book a table?
No — walk in whenever we’re open. Booking is only needed for private hire of the Loft upstairs.
Is there wifi, and can I work from KULT.?
Yes — free wifi, and you’re welcome to work here. Mornings and mid-afternoons are the quietest.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs.
Is KULT. step-free?
The coffee shop is on street level with step-free access. The Loft is upstairs and reached by a staircase, so please get in touch if you need us to plan around that.
Where can I park?
There’s on-street parking on and around Gosforth High Street, and Regent Centre Metro and its car park are a short walk away.
Food & drink
Do you do matcha?
Yes — matcha is one of the things we’re known for. Hot or iced matcha lattes, made to order, with your choice of milk.
What food do you serve?
Açaí bowls, protein oats, toasties, ciabattas and wraps, alongside protein shakes and Power Smoothies. It’s built for breakfast, lunch or fuelling up after the gym.
Do you cater for dairy-free or vegan diets?
Yes — oat and other milk alternatives on every drink, and vegan options on the food menu. Ask the team and we’ll talk you through it.
Can I buy your coffee beans?
Yes. Our own KULT. Blend is roasted with North East Origins and sold in store as beans or ground, £10 a bag.
The Loft & events
Can I hire a private room at KULT.?
Yes — the Loft is our private event space upstairs, seating up to 40 guests, with coffee shop service and an optional evening bar.
What kind of events does the Loft suit?
Meetings, workshops and team away days during the day; baby showers, birthdays, hen dos, christenings, society socials and community meet-ups in the evening. We also run our own quiz nights and KULT. Kreative paint sessions up there.
Is food and drink included?
Hire is for the space; food and drink are arranged separately so you only pay for what you want. We’ll talk you through the options when you enquire.
Can I decorate the space?
Yes — bring balloons, banners and anything else you need, and you’re welcome to come in beforehand to set up.
